My wife and I had a deal. If our child was a boy then I would get to name it. I was going to name “him” after my father. If the child was a girl then she would get to name it. She wanted to name “Her” Sarah Jane. I said “You want to name our daughter after the woman that tried to assassinate President Ford or the serial killer?” her response was no, she liked the name Sarah and her mothers name was Jane, plus she was a fan of Gone with the Wind which has a character named Sarah Jane. Our daughter is named Sarah Jane and only later became a big Dr. Who fan.
